| Abstract(in English) | The authors have aimed to realize a terabit-class cache system of information-centric networking (ICN) routers by using a hybrid hardware platform consisting of a programmable switch and commodity computers, where the DRAM devices of the computers cache data packets. While we demonstrated Tbps-class throughput of the cache system in our previous study, the demonstration was conducted under a specific traffic load. In contrast, this paper analyzes the conditions under which the cache system works well by developing analytical models of such the cache system. The analysis results show the effectiveness of the cache system for realistic Internet traffic loads. |
