| Abstract(in English) | In this study, we introduce spatial mode conversion and mode distribution measurement method for optical vortex beams having orbital angular momentum (OAM). In particular, we discuss a method to realize multiplier and divider of OAM modes with high efficiency and accuracy. In the proposed method, the OAM multiplication is realized by implementing a circular-sector transformation, whereby the cross-sectional circular shape of the OAM mode is geometrically transformed to circular-sector shape, using a spatial phase modulator (SLM). Since our method can be realized with a single-step geometrical transformation, the transformation efficiency and accuracy are much higher than those of conventional methods, and it could be a essential technology for OAM mode control. |
