Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Reflection removal is a technique that removes reflections in images, which occurs via taking pictures something transmitted through. Conventionally, a lot of method of reflection removal have been proposed. These methods can remove almost reflections but cannot remove specific reflections that have very high value of luminance, which called saturated reflections in this paper. To solve this problem, the method based on convolutional neural network (CNN) has been proposed and removes saturated reflections. However, its detection performance for saturated reflections is lower than ability of human. In this paper, to improve the detection performance, we study network structures that utilizes high-frequency components, training datasets that contains many high-luminance background objects, and loss function that controls weights for false detection and undetected. Through experiments, we study efficacies of these techniques for the detection. |
