[Invited Talk] Multifunctional microopical elements based on dielectric metasurface

Abstract(in English) Metasurfaces based on dielectric nanostructures have attracted much attention because of their potential applications in a wide range of fields, including wavefront conversion and polarization conversion. This talk reported the design theory and fabrication methods of rotational varifocal metasurface lenses (metalenses), polarization-separating metalenses, and metasurface holography movies. The rotational varifocal metalens achieved a wide range of focal length adjustments from convex to concave. Polarization-separating metalens achieved polarized thermal imaging in the long-wavelength infrared region. Metasurface holograms realized multicolor animation with a maximum playback speed of 30 frames per second using a cinematographic approach.
