Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report presents the performance of a hybrid multiple access scheme that simultaneously utilizes non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) and orthogonal multiple access (OMA) under non-uniform user distribution and multiple transmit antennas through computer simulations. The main objective of the hybrid multiple access scheme is to mitigate the performance degradation specific to NOMA, caused by small channel gain differences between users, by incorporating OMA within the same bandwidth. So far, we have introduced the effectiveness of applying resource allocation techniques considering user request to the hybrid multiple access scheme. In this report, we further investigate the impact of using the Thomas cluster process for non-uniform user distribution and employing maximum ratio transmission (MRT) for multiple transmit antennas on the overall performance of the proposed hybrid multiple access scheme.
