LDPC Coded DBICM System for Multiple Access Channels

Abstract(in English) In this study, we propose a multilevel coded modulation method based on a low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes and delayed bit interleaved coded modulation (DBICM) for a 2-user multiple access channel. In the proposed method, the codewords of each user are divided and allocated to multiple time slots based on unique parameters. The proposed method can mitigate the reduction of shorter symbol-to-symbol distance, noise effects, and user interference. we investigate the relationship between signal point allocation, bit labeling for each user, and performance in terms of mutual information. Moreover, we evaluate the error rate performance of the proposed LDPC-coded DBICM system through computer simulations to illustrates the effect of the proposed method.
