Abstract(in English) | In this report, we propose a Golomb coding method for scrambled domain layered coding compatible with JPEG XS. The proposed scrambled domain layered coding is a two-layer lossless coding with a base layer and an enhancement layer, that works on scrambled images. It is intended for use in edge clouds, and the privacy information can be preserved even in images are leaked. The low-delay and lightweight ISO/IEC standard JPEG XS is used for the base layer. In the enhancement layer, the difference signal between the line-scrambled original image and the JPEG XS decoded image is further scrambled pixel by pixel and encoded by Golomb coding. By determining the Golomb coding parameter based on the JPEG XS parameter, we achieve a lightweight and efficient encoding. In the simulation, we confirmed that efficient encoding was achieved by determining the Golomb coding parameter based on the JPEG XS parameter. |
