Abstract(in English) | Collection, management, and processing data at the edge of an IoT system is effective in distribution of communication and computational loads and reduction in latency. Furthermore, with rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, even simple IoT devices can perform intelligent information processing. There are a variety of techniques of AIization of IoT devices, such as embedding full functionalities of AI including online learning, implementing a pretrained model in an AI chip, and sharing a task of model building among devices by federated learning technology, but there still exist issues of device cost, communication overhead, and energy consumption. In this talk, I will introduce new architectures to regard an IoT network constituting of simple IoT devices as an artificial neural network: Network as a Computer, DW-SNN (Distributed Wireless Spiking Neural Network), WiBIC (Wireless Brain-Inspired Computing), and B-WSN (Brain-morphic Wireless Sensor Network) and discuss future perspectives. |
