Abstract(in English) | We developed a baby monitoring system that combines advanced image processing technology and visual IoT technology. Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and suffocation due to babies sleeping on their stomachs have become a social problem. In this study, we developed a respiration detection method that combines magnification and optical flow. In consideration of privacy, we improved the efficiency of the algorithm so that all processing can be performed on the edge side. By acquiring high-motion regions from the magnification machine learning algorithm, we extracted candidate points for optical flow tracking and realized real-time respiration detection on a single-board computer. |
