Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With 6 GHz band being focused as a new frequency spectrum for wireless LANs, there is a need for dynamic channel allocation methods that can accommodate the increasing demand for frequency channels while avoiding radio interference to primary users (PUs). A dynamic channel allocation method based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) proposed by the authors to conduct dynamic channel allocation to incorporate multiple criteria such as interference to PUs and existing secondary users (SUs), as well as expected data rate. In this paper, location information of PUs and existing SUs have been incorporated into the proposed AHP-based dynamic channel allocation method. Simulation results show that the proposed method provides the same results as the intuitive channel selection and that AHP can be used to select a channel based on the requirements of a new SU. The proposed method provides an effective solution for increasing the efficiency and reliability of wireless LANs in situations where multiple factors need to be considered simultaneously.
