High-speed Fading Measurement of Millimeter-wave Broadband Signals

Abstract(in English) In wireless communications, fading is a propagation characteristic that degrades communication quality. Millimeter wave and terahertz wave have been widely considered for use in ultrahigh-speed wireless communications due to their broadband nature, but these bands have short wavelengths and may be affected by slight fluctuations in the propagation environment. Therefore, using millimeter-wave broadband signals (OFDM) in the 60 GHz and 90 GHz bands, we measured the time-frequency characteristics of power in a propagation environment with high-speed and fluctuating objects.
