Abstract(in English) | Recently, inspection by robots has been attracting attention as an efficient inspection method for buried pipes such as water and gas pipes, which are facing the problem of aging. We have been studying a communication method using microwaves propagating along polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe walls as a communication method with a robot. In this study, we investigated the possibility of increasing the communication capacity by applying 2 × 2 MIMO to this method through simulations and experiments. |
