[Invited Talk] Introduction of NanoVNA

Abstract(in English) This talk shows an overview of NanoVNA, an ultra-compact vector network analyzer. I developed NanoVNA and pushed the results on github as open source. Some years later, mass production and sales were conducted without notice. Several variations and inexpensive pirated versions were sold in the market at incredibly low prices. As a result, NanoVNA became known worldwide as the measuring instrument for hobbyists. The NanoVNA consists of inexpensive hardware and well-tuned firmware, and includes signal processing and calibration systems for RF measurements, as well as a fairly extensive software implementation, including a touch panel, menu system, graphics rendering, and PC interface. With much of the NanoVNA code used in several small RF instruments such as another VNA and spectrum analyzer (SA), it plays the role of an operating system. I’m convinced that these small RF instruments will provide students and hobbyists with opportunities to learn about RF and will contribute to the development of human resources interested in electromagnetism, physics, and communications.
