Abstract(in English) | Our laboratory is developing an indoor localization system using received signal strength obtained from wireless LAN APs at Toyohashi University of Technology. In a previous study[1], localization using WCL on corridors achieves an average error of less than 5 m. In this paper, we evaluate the applicability of indoor localization using multilateration in the same environment as in the previous study[1]. The experimental results show the usefulness of the method of creating a path loss model for each AP, employing the problem of Apollonius to estimate the location, and reducing the effect of the collinearity of the AP deployment. |
