[Short Paper] Repeater Control in Repeater-Assisted MIMO Systems

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a novel method for amplification and phase optimization in distributed reconfigurable repeater-assisted multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. Distributed multiple-input multiple-output (D-MIMO) architectures, such as cell-free multiple-input multiple-output (CF-MIMO), have been shown to be a promising alternative to conventional centralized multiple-input multiple-output (C-MIMO) in real-world networks. However, there are still several challenges to overcome for the real-world deployment of D-MIMO. This paper aims to demonstrate the potential performance of repeater-assisted MIMO systems as a viable successor to C-MIMO in scenarios where D-MIMO deployment is difficult. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
