[Invited Talk] Toward quantum network based on photonics-aided ion trap quantum technology

Abstract(in English) Among many quantum technologies, ion-trap quantum technology is a promising platform for quantum computation and quantum communication for its precise quantum operations, uniformity and feasibility of photonic interconnection. In the ion-trap quantum technology, atomic ions are trapped levitated by electromagnetic fields in an ultrahigh vacuum and their quantum states are manipulated by lasers and microwaves. Photonic technology is desirably incorporated into ion trap quantum technology in the scope of implementation of compact and reproducible ion-trap quantum nodes and realization of efficient photonic interconnection toward the construction of ion-trap quantum-network. Here we first overview the implementations of the quantum manipulations and their implementation in the ion-trap quantum technology and describe our progress on the photonics-aided ion-trap quantum technology.
