Abstract(in English) | The IoT business has been developing rapidly in recent years, and IoT devices are expected to become more widespread in the future to realize automated driving and digital twins. However, as the number of IoT devices increases, communication traffic will grow, and power supply and battery replacement for these devices will become major issues. To solve these issues, we aim to realize a system that wirelessly transmits not only information but also power to IoT devices. In this paper, we introduce our research and development on the integration and cooperation of telecommunication and wireless power transfer. We propose a wireless power transmission system that uses vacant resource blocks in communication base stations. As a suitable signal for wireless power transmission in the above system, we consider modulation signals based on OFDM, which has high compatibility with telecommunications. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the modulated signal in the transmitting and receiving part of the system. Furthermore, a wireless power transmission frame is integrated into the developed communication device. We also explain the experimental evaluation of communication and wireless power transmission from the same communication device. |
