Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we propose an improved visual intention estimation model based on object detection to distinguish eye and head movements during looking away, paying attention and checking the environment. The proposed model consists of a 1DCNN-LSTM and takes as input "looking object" and "distance to object" in addition to time series data of eye and head movements. Comparison experiments on estimation accuracy showed that the F-measure of the proposed model tended to be higher than that of the traditional model, suggesting that feature vectors such as "looking object" and "distance to object" contribute to the improvement of estimation accuracy.
