Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Embedding imperceptible markers into display images allows for information to be presented while maintaining the viewing experience. The color vibration method achieves imperceptibility by rapidly alternating colors and conveying two-dimensional patterns by varying the presence of color vibration for each pixel. However, when embedding patterns into video images, the interframe difference hinders the detection of color vibration. Existing methods have required dual cameras or have been affected by the rolling shutter effect. In this paper, we propose a robust marker embedding approach using the quadrature phase shift color vibration method to address interframe differences. For evaluation, we conduct experiments using physical hardware and discuss the effectiveness of the proposed method as well as the mitigation of the rolling shutter.
