| Abstract(in English) | This study aims to create a sense of body ownership of the third and fourth virtual ears (virtual ears) behind the neck of an avatar in a virtual space using stereophonic sound and vibration in response to both the rotation of the user’s head and hand movements. The system evaluation resulted that auditory and haptic feedback in response to hand and head movements in virtual ears enhanced the sense of body ownership of virtual ears. On the other hand, it was suggested that whether or not one's motion or the virtual ears provide visual feedback is immaterial to the sense of body ownership of virtual ears. |
