Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Vocal fold vibration is a nonlinear phenomenon in the real world. In humans, vocal folds can produce complex sounds by interacting with ventricular folds located superiorly to the vocal folds. The physical model experiments have showed that vocal folds and ventricular folds give rise to synchronous or asynchronous vibrations under specific conditions. Understanding this mechanism requires the concept of nonlinear dynamics, but it is not easy to assume a model of the vocal fold and ventricular fold system from the experiment data. We demonstrate that the analysis of the nonlinear phenomena caused by vocal fold and ventricular fold vibration can be data-driven methodds using several machine learning techniques.
