Abstract(in English) | In-band full-duplex communication (IBFD), which performs transmission and reception in the same frequency band at the same time, enables improvements in spectral efficiency and low latency, and is regarded as a promising operating mode for future wireless networks. However, in IBFD, the feedback of the transmission signal creates strong self-interference, making interference cancellation a necessary challenge. Previous studies have proposed digital cancellers using polynomial models or neural networks, but experimental verification has mainly been assumed for implementation on terminals with low-output amplifiers that guarantee linearity. Therefore, in this study, we evaluated the performance of various digital self-interference canceller methods using a high-power amplifier with a 6 W-class Gallium Nitride high-electron-mobility transistor (GaN HEMT) to consider implementation of IBFD systems at base stations and relay stations. |
