Abstract(in English) | A screen-camera communication has been proved that it is cost-efficient and intuitive to common users. Furthermore, hidden screen-camera communication can transfer both data and visual information at the same time. In this study, we evaluate a hidden screen-camera communication system using adversarial examples on a convolutional neural network (CNN) depth estimation model. An adversarial can change the output of the model by only a slight change of the input, so the data can be embedded into the output to achieve hidden screen-camera communication. Also, to provide robustness against channel noise for the adversarial example, which is vulnerable to noise, we introduce Expectation over Transformation (EOT). We examine the validity of this communication method EOT with simulation of a noisy environment and manage to get BER under $3.5times10^{-2}$ despite the noisy environment. |
