Illumination Light Communication for Switching Light Emission Pattern and Code Pattern

Abstract(in English) In this paper, the authors consider an optical wireless code hopping system with code shift keying (CSK) that uses Modified Pseudo Orthogonal M-sequences sets (MPOMs) and prime codes. The proposed method has a lighting function and communication function (anti-interference function) for realizing illumination light communication. A prime code is assigned to each user in advance as a code hopping sequence, data are transmitted by LED as a code of MPOMs selected based on the number of levels of the prime code. Furthermore, by using RGB-LED, it is possible to simultaneously transmit additional information by switching the light emission color as a pattern and implement toning function.
