A fundamental study on a numerical Helmholtz decomposition of surface electromagnetic currents

Abstract(in English) The loop-star decomposition is known as a pseudo Helmholtz decompositions of the Rao-Wilton-Glisson~(RWG) basis functions, which is widely used for expanding surface electromagnetic currents. One of applications of the pseudo Helmholtz decomposition is a solution for the low-frequency breakdown. In this presentation we consider a numerical method to apply the Helmholtz decomposition to basis functions of surface electromagnetic currents, which cloud be particularly useful in the characteristic basis function method~(CBFM).
