Measurement of Spatial Distribution of Electromagnetic Field and Shaft Current Distribution Near A Brushcutter

Abstract(in English) Measurements were carried out to determine the spatial distribution of noise in the vicinity of an brushcutter, which is an intense source of electromagnetic noise that can affect implantable medical devices. Following the previous report, the electromagnetic field distribution in the horizontal plane with the spark plug as the reference point was measured and the peak values and energy density distribution were presented in the form of contours and evaluated. Furthermore, the distribution of noise currents on the metal shaft was measured.
