Abstract(in English) | With the development of an advanced information society, the amount of information is increasing at an accelerating rate, and it is required to process a large amount of information in a short period of time. High-speed data transmission using optics is expected to become widespread in the future. However, high-precision alignment is required to connect optical elements, since losses due to axis misalignment and other causes can be significant. In this study, we fabricated a multimode light-induced self-written (LISW) waveguide and LISW optical coupling using near-infrared (NIR) light for the purpose of self-coupling between an optical transceiver and a multimode fiber. |
