Experiment of multi-frequency multi-beam pointing with a software defined radio for a synthetic aperture radar with transmission frequency multiplexing

Abstract(in English) Experiment for previously proposed transmission frequency multiplexing method for Spaceborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is conducted. In the method, each radar beam is simultaneously transmitted toward each area within swath. In the experiment, antennas are installed in the anechoic chamber, and charp signal is transmitted and received with a software defined radio. Separation of signal and ability for beam pointing with different frequency are verified.
