Development of Large-capacity Content Transmission Equipment to Bundle 12 and 21GHz-band Satellite Transmission Channels and IP Network

Abstract(in English) We have developed a large-capacity content transmission equipment to bundle 12 and 21-GHz-band satellite channels, and IP network for expanding transmission capacity. It divides a large-capacity contents into IP packets, and converts to TLV packets with identification numbers and distributes them each transmission channel by a designated order. In receiving side, TLV packets from each transmission channel are stored and combined them by compensating the differences of transmission delays based on the identification numbers. In this paper, we show the detail of the transmission method and the evaluation results of the equipment by indoor experiment.
