Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In magnetic field coupling wireless power transmission (WPT), it has been reported that wireless power transmission efficiency increased by inserting an unpowered relay coil and loading an impedance. In this study, an experiment was conducted to extend the distance over which an LED-Cube lights up by applying this technology. First, a relay coil was placed behind the power transmission coil so that it can also be used as a power receiving coil. To achieve higher efficiency, the impedance values loaded on each coil were optimized separately, and the resulting values were used to build a prototype. As a result, all eighteen LEDs were successfully turned on, whereas only four LEDs were turned on in the conventional coil.
