[Poster Presentation] Miniaturization of Microstrip Matching Circuits Using Spurline

Abstract(in English) Although matching circuits can minimize reflections between the main transmission line and the load at the design frequency, the larger circuit dimensions for inserted additional line are required to realize the matching. In this paper, a novel spurline matching circuit is proposed to reduce the size of circuit. In order to considerate the complex impedance of the Zknown circuit, the physical length was determined based on LC lumped element circuit model of spurline. As a result, when the Zknown circuit is inserted, the proposed spurline matching circuit could achieve the matching at 2.4 GHz. In addition, our proposal is smaller than the conventional stub matching circuit of approximately 13%, and it can be contributed to the ease of manufacturing. This paper is wrote for the participation in the 2.4 GHz category of the 20th WPT Matching Circuit Contest.
