Analysis of the SINR properties of AAA-WS under multipath environment

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we analyze the SINR properties of adaptive antenna array based on not only weight but also antenna space control (AAA-WS) with two antenna elements under multipath environment. In the assumed antenna space control, one antenna location is fixed and the other antenna location is selected from $N$ possible antenna locations based on SINR criterion. In the signal processing, SINR is calculated every time antenna space is controlled, then each SINR correlates each other since one antenna location is fixed, so the outage probability becomes so complicated that it is difficult to analyze that in theory. Then, we analyze the outage probability for the assumed antenna space control by approximating that with the outage probability in the case that each SINR which is calculated every time antenna space is controlled doesn't correlate each other since that is derived in theory from the outage probability of adaptive antenna array based on weight control (AAA-W) and the order statistics. At first, we present the way of approximating the outage probability for the assumed antenna space control with the outage probability in the case that each SINR which is calculated every time antenna space is controlled doesn't correlate each other. In addition, we present why the approximation is highly versatile regardless of SNR and SIR. Finally, we evaluate the approximation.
