Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For a better classroom environment, it is desirable for students to communicate their level of understanding and areas of confusion to the teacher, who can then respond accordingly. However, many students are unable to convey their level of understanding or questions effectively. To address this issue, we propose a method in which students can anonymously input their subjective level of understanding as quantitative values, which are then visualized on a time-series line graph and presented to both students and teachers. An evaluation experiment with deaf and hard of hearing found that students were able to express their subjective level of understanding more easily, and teachers were able to conduct classes based on the visualized subjective understanding levels.
