Investigation of Video Watermarking Method Based on 3D U-Net Robust Against Re-shooting

Abstract(in English) In recent years, digital signage has become popular as a device for disseminating information to the masses. However, unlike advertisements displayed on PCs and smartphones, it is not possible to obtain information directly, even if the content is of interest. Therefore, a method of embedding digital watermarks in videos to obtain information is being considered. Conventional methods have some problems, such as the limitation of the amount of watermark information that can be embedded. In the latest research, watermarking using deep learning are attracting attention in order to embed watermarks in a large volume. In this paper, we implement a video watermarking method based on 3D U-Net, which enables the embedding of larger watermarks than existing methods. Experiments on watermark extraction for reshot videos using watermarked videos showed that the correct watermark was extracted on average once every 1.98 seconds.
