Suppression of averaging attacks by image reconstruction using Seam Carving

Abstract(in English) The ROI position is shifted by inserting and deleting rows of pixels using Seam Carving in the area surrounding the ROI region of the image in order to suppress averaging attacks on the watermark,. The ROI position is shifted to different positions in multiple image contents with the same content. A method was proposed to degrade the image quality of the ROI regions after the averaging attack on these images. However, Seam carving, however, requires processing on a pixel-by-pixel basis to search for paths in the image to be deleted or inserted and to record the path coordinates, which increases the processing time and recording volume. To solve this problem, we applied image quadtree segmentation. Evaluation experiments have been conducted with good results.
