Abstract(in English) A video data hiding scheme based on the differences between two successive frames has been proposed. In this scheme, a whole of a single frame is altered to embed a single bit. The objective of this study is to improve this method. In the proposed method, the secrecy of the embedded data can be improved by reducing a region on the frame to be altered. To extract the embedded data, we employ block-matching algorithm and dynamic programming, which can achieve the robustness against attacks as well as error-correction without using any error-correcting codes. To be more specific, it is shown that a bit error rate can be 0.2 or less even under H.264 compressions, and that it is difficult for HVS to spot noises on the video frame by 25% or more compared with the previous studies.
