Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, traffic congestion in Japan has become chronic due to a complex road network, increased traffic volume, and overcrowding. To solve these problems,Cyber Physical Systems (CPS),in which information in physical space is computed/controlled and fed back in cyberspace, have been studied. These systems are supposed to be synchronized in cyberspace by the presence of sufficient sensors such as automated vehicles, but there are also conventional vehicles without sufficient sensors on the road today. Therefore,we propose a method to recognize conventional vehicles in cyberspace in an environment where automated vehicles and conventional vehicles are mixed, and from this,we propose a signal control method to alleviate traffic congestion.
