Evaluate Multiple Route Construction Methods for UAVs Travel Time and Safety using a Variety of Node Arrangements

Abstract(in English) A method of constructing routes for mobile devices using a reactive routing protocol has been studied using an ad hoc network consisting of wireless devices deployed in each house. In our previous study, we proposed a route construction method that can construct not only one route for one mobile device but also freely selectable routes from multiple candidates in order to meet various service requests. Assuming that delivery would be made within a single city, the route was constructed with a node layout in which densely populated areas were surrounded by scattered residential areas. However, assuming long-distance delivery, routes must be constructed to avoid multiple densely populated areas. Therefore, a node placement model with multiple densely populated areas was used to construct the route. The value of "β", which balances safety and efficiency in accordance with the service requirements of the route evaluation, was varied, and route exploration was performed. The effectiveness of the methods in the previous studies was evaluated based on the characteristics of the candidate routes obtained.
