Abstract(in English) | In recent years, there has been much effort to develop self-management systems to control hyperglycemia for diabetic patients. However, there are few ways to help non-diabetic people avoid becoming diabetics. Since diabetes cannot be completely cured even after remission, it is necessary to prevent diabetes before it develops. In this paper, we propose a system to support the prevention of diabetes by monitoring blood glucose levels in real-time, calculating the foods to be reduced in consideration of the user's preferences, and presenting them to the user when the system predicts that the planned meal will cause hyperglycemia. In this paper, we design an experiment to investigate the feasibility of the proposed system and construct and evaluate a model for predicting blood glucose levels. To construct the blood glucose prediction model, we collected data (dietary information, sleep information, and physical information of the subjects) from ten participants to predict blood glucose levels two hours later. The results show that the constructed model could predict blood glucose levels with RMSE of 7.66 and MAE of 4.66. |
