Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, WPSNs (Wireless Powered Sensor Networks), which wirelessly transfers energy to sensor nodes to eliminate the need of battery replacement, have attracted attention. In this paper, we focus on realtime monitoring employing UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)assisted wireless sensor networks, where equipment for data collections and energy transfer are installed on a UAV. In particular, assuming an environment where a UAV collects sensing data from sensor nodes and transmits them to adjacent base stations, we consider the UAV flight path optimization problem to improve the freshness of collected sensing data. In the flight path selection assuming the limited communication range of each base station, it is necessary to consider the impact of the priority of data collections by the UAV, priority of data transmissions to base stations, and the amount of energy acquired by each sensor node on the information freshness measured by AoI (Age of Information). Therefore, in this paper, we derive the flight path suppressing the average AoI of each node by using DQN (Deep Q Network), and evaluate its effectiveness by computer simulations.
