Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It has been reported that the millimetre and terahertz wave bands used in next-generation communications have different human body scattering characteristics for V and H polarisations. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify the propagation characteristics of each polarisations in order to implement MIMO technology. Simultaneous measurement of V and H polarisation is time-consuming when the direction of arrival (DOA) is measured by rotating an aperture antenna, and a highspeed measurement system is required to perform this measurement regardless of the environment. The authors have proposed a fast measurement system for the direction of arrival of V and H polarisations using a rotating reflector antenna with OMT (orthomode transducers) attached to the primary radiator. In this paper, DOA measurements are performed using multiple sources of V and H polarisations and the effectiveness of the measurement system in multipath is confirmed. The measurement results show that the system can make measurements even when V and H polarisations arrive from different directions, and can discriminate between two polarisations even when they arrive from the same direction.
