Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In terminal-collaborated MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) reception, where reception is performed collaboratively with neighboring terminals, the terminal to be the collaboration partner needs to be selected appropriately. In frequency-selective fading channels, it is possible to improve transmission performance by selecting the appropriate terminals for each frequency subband. Therefore, a method based on the MIMO channel matrix was studied as a subband-based terminal selection scheme. On the other hand, it is also clear that the residual error coefficient in received signal processing is a good indicator of the accuracy of decoding. However, this method requires a large signal processing load to attempt decoding. In this paper, we propose a scheme for further improving the performance of subband-based terminal selection. In this paper, the number of decoding operations and error rate performance were revealed first. Then, we evaluated the relationship between the number of decoding operations and error rate performance, and the performance of the proposed method, which combines the conventional method and the residual error coefficient, by computer simulation. As a result, we confirmed that the transmission performance of the proposed method are superior to those of the conventional method.
