Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The development of medical technology has facilitated the acquisition of biomedical information such as electrocardiograms using wearable devices, making it possible to easily monitor the state of a subject's heart and other organs. However, when measurements are made with a wearable biomedical sensor, which enables long-term monitoring without placing a burden on the body, it is difficult to obtain accurate biomedical information due to motion artifacts caused by human movement. In the past, this problem was solved by removing motion artifacts with an adaptive filter, QRS complex detection using slope information, and R-wave estimation using correlation coefficients, but the accuracy was not sufficient. In this paper, we propose a method to improve the accuracy of R-wave estimation by employing an RLS adaptive filter that has a faster convergence speed than the previously used LMS adaptive filter, and report the improvement in estimation accuracy.
