On event-related potentials induced by auditory stimuli virtually localized using a loudspeaker array

Abstract(in English) The performance of the auditory BCI system is expected to be improved when auditory stimuli virtually localized in 3-D sound space realized by using loudspeakers are used. In this study, selective attention task to auditory stimuli virtually localized in the sound space was performed, and elicited event-related potentials were evaluated. The results showed that 10 target sound sources, including 5 virtual sound sources, could be detected from elicited event-related potentials.
