Large-scale Simulation for Integrated Demonstration of Management Technology in Advanced 5G Network

Abstract(in English) In the advanced 5G era around 2025, mobile traffic with various required qualities such as high capacity, ultra-low latency, and massive connections is expected. While elemental technologies have been studied for different technical issues, an integrated demonstration including all elemental technologies will be conducted in order to realize highly reliable communications provided by the entire advanced 5G system. In the integrated demonstration, we will conduct simulation evaluations in a large-scale environment to demonstrate the achievement of numerical targets. In this paper, we report on our study of how to create a large-scale simulation environment assuming around 2025. In addition, we report an evaluation result of the area capacity with a specific cell placement to study the cell placement for providing highly reliable communications.
