Neural Network Based Wideband Digtial Post-distortion for Virtualized Terminal

Abstract(in English) A virtualised terminal consisting of a normal user terminal and multiple RF relay devices that perform frequencyconversion has been proposed to achieve throughput of 100 Gbps or higher on the uplink in Beyond 5G. The RF relay devicesin the virtualised terminal are assumed to transmit Amplify and forward relaying without demodulation and decoding usingan ultra-wide bandwidth such as 4.8 GHz. Therefore, in addition to the non-linear distortion generated by the power amplifierof the user terminal, the quality degradation of the ultra-wideband signal due to the non-linear distortion generated by therelay device becomes an issue. This paper models the non-linear distortion at the virtualised terminal and compensates for thenon-linear distortion generated at the relay device by performing non-linear distortion compensation at the receiver, therebyimproving signal quality.
