Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, some advanced linear algebra techniques are introduced to improve the DOA estimation problems in the field of array signal processing. The first one is a frequency-based MUISC algorithm that has a modification on the equation-solving stage. We applied Total Least Square(TLS) method to provide a more stable equation-solving procedure for tackling the bad frequency points. The second algorithm is based on the low-rank matrix completion theory, which is modified to be applied to the signal covariance matrix for solving DOA problems. According to results from the experiments and simulations, the proposed method has improved performance compared to the conventional methods.
