Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In recent years, there are many surveillance camera in cities, and people-tracking technology using them has been focused on. In most of the current people tracking technologies, servers collect people data, and then analyze the features of the people from the data. In this method, the network load on the servers is heavy when tracking people over a wide area in crowded places, causing problems such as packet loss and loss of real-time performance. In this paper, we propose two distributed people tracking methods to realize wide-area real-time human tracking. Actual measurements of the amount of communication data and processing time using cameras have shown that the two proposed methods can distribute the network load, although there are some difficulties in processing speed and accuracy of person detection. |
