Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | It is extremely important to keep detailed records of experimental procedures and results, especially in research where experiments and observations are conducted. Records are generally kept under lock and key for a long time because they are a valuable asset to research institution and valuable evidence in patent disputes. The importance of research records, including experimental records, is becoming even more important due to the rapid increase in the strict control of chemicals. If research records are simply made in research notebooks or files, there is a risk of fabrication or falsification by malicious actors, and it is difficult to detect them. It is expected that the validity of research records can be ensured by storing research records such as the history of creation and change of data and the history of use of drugs using the blockchain technology, which is a distributed ledger technology with high traceability and difficulty of falsification of data. Also, it is not easy to keep research records during experiments because it is an act while working. In such a situation, it is desirable to reduce manpower and easily perform research recording in real time. If voice recognition can be used to record research’s voice and others, research recording can be done even when both hands are not available. In this paper, we use blockchain technology and AI technology to management of research records. In this system, data can be stored in a state where falsification is difficult by storing research records in a blockchain, and by extracting and recording necessary information by voice and image recognition. We implement our method on Ethereum and evaluate its effectiveness through a questionnaire to people in research conducting experiments. |
