[Tutorial Lecture] Miniaturization Design of UWB Antenna and Application for UWB MIMO Antenna

Abstract(in English) This paper introduces the compact design of UWB monopole antennas for UWB systems and its application to UWB MIMO antennas. The planer UWB monopole antenna formed on a dielectric substrate is miniaturized by applying a short stub, and further miniaturization is achieved by adding a coupling structure. And the paper introduces a miniaturization design of these UWB monopole antennas with a half shape. In addition, as an application of the miniaturized half-shaped UWB antenna to the UWB MIMO antenna, this paper introduces the miniaturization of the UWB MIMO antenna that reduces the coupling between the antenna elements.
